Meet Julie
The person behind the standards.
Clean Leeds has always been my ‘baby’. It actually started life as Jewel Cleaning Services — a small business named after me — and grew out of a property maintenance company I set up after having my child.
Before that, I'd spent ten years as a nurse before moving into medical sales, selling high-value surgical instruments. Both careers taught me invaluable people skills — how to listen, build trust and communicate with all sorts of people.
And just to be clear, I don't actually love cleaning. What I do love is building a good business around good people.
I only employ nice people.
Clean Leeds is an ethical company that looks after its staff properly. My belief is simple: look after your people and they'll look after your clients.
I work from home myself, and I have my own home cleaned by my team — because I know exactly what our clients are paying for.
It's not just a clean house. It's headspace.
I still like to meet every new household myself. However much Clean Leeds grows, I don't want it to lose the thing that made it special: good people, properly looked after, looking after other people well.
